A large-scale high-gloss glazed porcelain figurine manufactured by Lladro, model number 1297, titled The Swing. Sculpted by Salvador Debon, the composition features a young woman in an 18th-century style dress and a wide-brimmed plumed hatseated upon a swing. The swing is suspended by original braided cords from a cantilevered, curving tree branch decorated with dense clusters of pale green leaves and two perched white doves. The base is fashioned as a grassy moundfeaturing a small spaniel dog and diminutive blue flowers. The piece is finished in the signature Lladro palette of soft pastel tones. 16 inches tall.The figurine is in overall excellent condition. Delicate features including the fingers, bird wings, and floral elements appear intact and free of restoration.
