Add a touch of timeless mid-century elegance to your formal table service or vintage display. This classic hollowware coffee pot was manufactured by the renowned Wm. Rogers company, a division of the International Silver Company. It features the highly collectible "American Victorian" style (Pattern #800). Note that the "800" stamp on the base designates the factory pattern collection, rather than 80% continental solid silver purity. The server showcases an elongated baluster-form body accented by a gracefully curved handle with hard-plastic heat insulators. It features a finely detailed floral-relief pouring spout, a securely hinged dome lid with a decorative finial, and is supported by four elaborate acanthus-leaf scroll feet. The exterior displays a striking, naturally aged dark rainbow tarnish patina that highlights its sculpted contours, which can be polished to a mirror-bright finish if desired by the collector.
