An extensive collection of vintage and antique buttons composed primarily of iridescent mother-of-pearl and carved shell. The assortment includes a wide variety of sizes and shapes, featuring decorative showpieces with radial starburst patterns, geometric etched borders, and ornate metal filigree overlays. The lot is comprised of several hundred buttons in white, cream, and charcoal tones alongside specialty colored plastic examples.Individual buttons range from approximately 0.25 inches to 1.75 inches in diameter.The buttons are in good vintage condition with occasional light surface wear and minor edge chipping consistent with age and use. Several pieces retain original thread remnants, and metal components exhibit a natural aged patina.
