An assortment of vintage and antique sewing buttons comprising various materials such as Bakelite, celluloid, vegetable ivory, mother-of-pearl, glass, and carved wood. One hard rubber button features a backstamp for I.R.C. Co. Goodyear dated 1851. The collection includes diverse novelty shapes, including seashells and grape clusters, alongside Art Deco and floral motifs. The buttons are contained within a clear glass Mason jar embossed with SHOULDER on the side.Jar height: 6.75 inchesButton diameters: 0.25 to over 2 inches.Overall good vintage condition with surface wear, light scuffing, and occasional small chips consistent with age and use.
