<br>H:11.3cm W:10.5cm This is a folk blue-and-white storage jar of Ming Dynasty, with short straight mouth, full plump shoulder and tapering lower belly supported by shallow ring foot. It is covered with pale blueish white glaze, decorated with layered cobalt patterns: scrolling vines around the rim, interlocking treasure flowers within round medallions on the main belly, and stylized lotus petal band near the base. The cobalt blue presents soft greyish tone with simple primitive lines. Treasure flower symbolizes auspiciousness and purity.
