GODDESS CUP.
D:6.6cm H:5.3cm This is a full set of twelve imperial wine cups fired in the Kangxi reign of Qing Dynasty, each representing the flower of one lunar month. They adopt bell-shaped thin-walled design with flared rims, crafted from fine translucent clay and covered with glossy pure white glaze. Each cup is decorated on one side with polychrome wucai painting of the monthly flower, and on the reverse side with blue-and-white seven-character poetic verses praising the bloom, finished with a small blue seal stamp after the poem. The base bears the six-character reign mark "Made in Kangxi Period of Great Qing". The twelve flowers correspond to each month: narcissus (1st), magnolia (2nd), peach blossom (3rd), peony (4th), pomegranate (5th), lotus (6th), orchid (7th), osmanthus (8th), chrysanthemum (9th), hibiscus (10th), Chinese rose (11th), wintersweet (12th). The twelve flower gods symbolize the cycle of seasons and enduring floral fragrance. Intact complete sets are extremely rare surviving specimens, a landmark masterpiece of Kangxi wucai porcelain. They were used for elegant literati gatherings for wine tasting, possessing outstanding practical, ornamental and collectible value
ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
