RUYI EAR FLAT POT. <br>H:26.3cm W:21.7cm This is an imperial blue-and-white flat vase of Ming Dynasty, with slender straight neck, paired symmetric Ruyi-shaped handles and flattened round belly. It has glossy white glaze, decorated with rich imported cobalt pigment: scrolling vines on neck, full interlocking peony flowers covering the body, and upright lotus petal band near the base. The blue pigment presents distinct layers and vivid deep tone.
