One 2005-P United States five-cent Jefferson nickel with the American Bison reverse, from the Westward Journey Nickel Series. The coin is housed in a white cardboard 2x2 holder with a clear window and staples. Handwritten holder annotations read“2005-P MINT ERROR,†“BISON,†and “STRUCK THRU GREASEâ€; these are claims only and do not authenticate a mint error. The coin appears circulated or surface-worn, with darkening or toning and scattered marks. Glare and reflections from thescuffed holder window limit examination. The holder has handwritten labeling, staple fasteners, and handling wear. No edge view or professional grade is provided.
