One 1912-D United States dime featuring the Liberty-head obverse and oak-and-wreath reverse. The coin shows the 1912 date, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,†“ONE DIME,†and the D mint mark, and is housed in a white cardboard 2x2 holder. The circulahas substantial wear, softened detail, dark toning or discoloration, abrasions, marks, and possible spotting. The used holder has edge wear, handwritten notation, and metal staples. No grade, cleaning, damage, authenticity, variety, weight, edge, orindividual-coin composition determination is made from the photographs. Standard examples of this issue are silver alloy, but this coin has not been chemically tested.
