Illustrated postcard no. 1013 depicting the Varied Industries, Electrical and Communications Building at the Texas Centennial Exposition, Dallas, Texas. Includes a separately grouped envelope addressed to L. B. Davis, Assessor and Collector,Gonzales, Texas, bearing a 3¢ Texas Centennial commemorative stamp and a Gonzales, Texas, November 19, 1936 postmark. The postcard is also printed with code 5A-H1680. The postcard has age toning and edge wear. The envelope has substantial toning,creasing, handling wear, and damage or partial detachment with losses along the lower address-window area. Glare and cancellation marks obscure some fine stamp details. The items are grouped as one lot; photographs do not establish that the envelopewas originally paired with the postcard. Clear protective sleeve included as packaging.
