The watch is sold as-is in current condition. The watch is working but timing & accuracy is not tested. Elgin rectangular "tank-style" wristwatch, manufactured by the Elgin National Watch Company in the late 1940s to early 1950s. The "dp" Logo: The stylized lowercase "dp" logo directly underneath the Elgin name stands for DuraPower. Introduced in 1947, this symbol indicates that the movement features Elgin’s patented, rust-proof, and unbreakable DuraPower alloy mainspring. Case and Dial: It features a mid-century Art Deco design with a curved rectangular profile, a stepped bezel, stylized numeric hour markers at 12, 2, 4, 8, and 10, and a sub-seconds complication at the 6 o'clock mark.
