Handcrafted Zuni frog fetish carved from black stone and accented with turquoise inlaid eyes and finely incised details. In Zuni tradition, the frog is often associated with rain, fertility, abundance, and renewal, making it a meaningful and highly collectible form among Native American fetish carvings. The carving measures approximately 1.75" long x 1" at its widest point and is signed "A_" by the artist (second character is indistinct). Displays light wear consistent with age and careful handling.
