Handcrafted Zuni fetish turtle signed by Jayne Quam, carved from dark stone and adorned with a beautifully executed multi-stone inlay shell featuring turquoise, shell, and other colorful natural stones. In Zuni tradition, turtle fetishes are often associated with protection, longevity, healing, and Mother Earth, making them highly sought after by collectors of Native American art and Southwestern carvings. The fetish measures approximately 2.25" long x 1.75" wide and is signed by the artist. The original purchase price was $60. Displays light wear consistent with age and careful handling.
