John T. McCarthy Jr. limited edition serigraph titled "The Milwaukee Road - Hiawatha," depicting the iconic Hiawatha streamliner with a Skytop observation car arriving at Milwaukee's historic station. Hand-signed, inscribed "To: CMC Corporation, The Milwaukee Road Continues!", and numbered 512/1000. Copyright dated 1991. Professionally dry-mounted to board. Please note: remnants of former matting are present along the edges where the mat was glued. Measures 30" x 22". Good overall condition. John T. McCarthy Jr. (American, 20th/21st century) is an American artist best known for his colorful railroad-themed serigraphs and prints celebrating the history of Midwestern railroads, particularly the Milwaukee Road and other classic passenger trains. His works are sought after by railroad enthusiasts for their bold Art Deco-inspired style and historically accurate depictions.
