Vintage double-sided porcelain enamel street sign reading "W Iowa St", manufactured by Federal Enterprises and dated January 1952, as marked on the mounting flange. Features black lettering on a yellow porcelain background with the original steel mounting bracket. A classic piece of mid-century municipal signage, ideal for collectors of street signs, transportation memorabilia, or Chicago history. Exhibits age-appropriate wear including edge chips, scattered porcelain loss, oxidation to the mounting bracket, and surface wear consistent with long-term outdoor use. Measures 26" x 6".
