Antique Monarch Telephone Manufacturing Company wall-mounted magneto telephone housed in its original oak case. Features dual brass bells, black transmitter mouthpiece, original receiver, hand-crank magneto, and interior mechanical components. Retains the original Monarch Telephone Mfg. Co., Chicago, U.S.A. maker's plaques, serial plate, and factory guarantee label inside the door. Includes two period-style Eveready dry cell batteries for display. The hand crank turns freely and activates the dual bells. A handsome early communications antique with excellent display appeal. Measures 26" x 9".
