Vintage freestanding STOP traffic sign featuring a red octagonal metal sign mounted on a heavy cast iron "lollipop" base manufactured by Gopher Sign Co., St. Paul, Minnesota. The base is cast with raised lettering reading "Gopher Sign Co., St. Paul, Minn." The sign displays honest wear from age and use, including paint loss, scratches, oxidation to the base, and other surface wear consistent with outdoor service. Overall height: 45". Sign measures 24" x 24". Heavy cast iron base.
