A vintage pair of traditional bentwood snowshoes by Faber, bearing the branded oval stamp "FABER – Made in Canada" and size designation 14 x 42. Constructed with laminated ash frames and rawhide webbing, the snowshoes retain their original leather toe harnesses with adjustable lacing. Long recognized as one of Canada's premier snowshoe manufacturers, Faber produced high-quality snowshoes for recreational, sporting, and wilderness use. Today, examples such as these are equally desirable as rustic cabin décor, lodge furnishings, or for collectors of Canadian sporting equipment.
