GIA Blue Sapphire and Diamond Platinum Ring

Oscar Friedman platinum ring featuring a GIA-certified 1.75-carat oval brilliant-cut natural blue sapphire. Sixty-eight round brilliant-cut natural diamonds surround the sapphire and accent the wide split shoulders. All rings in this auction are currently sized between 6 and 7. The consignor has generously agreed to resize the purchased ring at no charge to the buyer. Rings requiring resizing will be shipped to the consignor and returned to the buyer through Southern Heirs Auction. Please allow approximately two to four weeks for the resizing and return process. The sapphire is described as transparent, intense blue, with excellent symmetry. The diamonds total approximately 0.89 carat and are described as F-G color with VS1-VS2 clarity, excellent symmetry, and excellent polish. Gross weight is approximately 6.6 grams. Reported to be in excellent condition with a high-polish finish. A California jewelry insurance appraisal dated June 23, 2026, is included and lists a retail replacement value of $19,640.
