Platinum ring featuring a GIA-certified 1.45-carat oval brilliant-cut natural blue spinel surrounded by a double diamond halo. Baguette and round diamonds accent the shoulders. All rings in this auction are currently sized between 6 and 7. The consignor has generously agreed to resize the purchased ring at no charge to the buyer. Rings requiring resizing will be shipped to the consignor and returned to the buyer through Southern Heirs Auction. Please allow approximately two to four weeks for the resizing and return process. The appraisal describes the spinel as natural with no indications of heating, transparent, intense blue, and Type 1 clarity with excellent symmetry. Forty-six natural diamonds total approximately 0.78 carat and are described as F-G color with VS1-VS2 clarity, excellent symmetry, and excellent polish. The platinum is listed as .900 purity. Reported to be in excellent condition with a high-polish finish. A California jewelry insurance appraisal is included and lists a retail replacement value of $14,590.
