Description: Taxidermy ring-necked pheasant wall mount in flying pose with wings spread. Bird has iridescent dark head with red facial patch, white neck ring, brown patterned body and long tail feathers. Mounted to wooden backing board with metal hanger bracket and wire attachment for wall hanging. Quantity 1. Wingspan measures approximately 27 inches per consignor. Body measures approximately 24 inches long including tail. Estimated vintage mount, circa mid to late 20th century. Condition: Shows heavy wear consistent with age. Feathers show wear, dust, matting and loss especially on back and under wings. Backing board shows cracking and splitting. Hanger shows rust. Overall needs cleaning. Wear appropriate for age.
