Large red cylindrical Prince Albert Crimp Cut Long Burning Pipe and Cigarette Tobacco tin or container, printed with R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Winston-Salem, N.C., U.S.A., and “Process Patented July 30th 1907.” The body and lid featurelithographed Prince Albert branding and tobacco-preparation text. Extensive scuffing, scratches, abrasions, fading, grime, and losses affect the printed decoration. The rim and lid edges show oxidation or rust, with heavy lid wear and residue oradhesive patches. No interior or functional inspection is shown. A smaller Astor Filter tin and a rusted strap- or handle-like metal piece appear in the photographs, but their inclusion in the sale is unconfirmed.
