One turquoise-blue lithographed sheet-metal tobacco tin with attached lid and front closure tab. The tin is marked “EDGEWORTH EXTRA HIGH GRADE SLICED PIPE TOBACCO,” “MADE IN U.S.A.,” and “LARUS & BRO. CO. RICHMOND, VA. U.S.A.” A printed consumerstatement appears inside the lid. An apparent rectangular metal insert or liner is visible inside; the tin is empty. Substantial rust and oxidation occur along the edges, seams, and corners, with widespread scratches, abrasions, finish loss, andfading to the lithography. Interior corrosion or discoloration is visible on the base and apparent insert. Minor edge bending or deformation may be present; no major structural break is clearly visible. Not functionally tested; no tobacco contents,batteries, or compatibility-related components are included. Missing parts and whether the apparent insert is removable or original are not confirmed.
