One rectangular lithographed tinplate tobacco tin with an integral hinged lid, printed EDGEWORTH and marked EXTRA GRADE, HIGH GRADE, and READY-RUBBED. The manufacturer line reads “LARUS & BRO., RICHMOND, VA.” Additional text includes “READY RUBBEDSMOKING TOBACCO” and “SATISFACTION GUARANTEED / WILL NOT BITE THE TONGUE.” The tin is empty, with no loose contents included. Aged and heavily worn, with scratches, abrasions, scuffs, decoration loss, rust or corrosion, dark interior staining, grime,and minor apparent dents or deformation. The hinge is present and the lid is shown open, but full operation is unconfirmed. No major perforation or large structural break is visible.
