**As described by the Vendor** "Gradys Fontain" 2012 SH Mare Approx. 15.3HH Colour: Black Sire: Bonlac Casey Dam: Honkytonk Flo Jo Registered: ASH Registered 232813 Education Level: Broken Rider Suitability: Experienced Floating Requirements: Float & Truck Grady's Fontain is a 14 year old registered Heritage Stock Horse black mare. I have had her 2 years now getting me back into the swing of the competition scene and building my confidence again back barrel racing. She was previously owned by Ruth O'Donaghue, travelling Victoria competing at rodeos and jackpots. Since being with me we have been to a couple of rodeos and plenty of barrel days. Previously, before Ruth owned her, apparently she competitively jumped as well. I have done a little bit of jumping and she loves it. Fontain had some foot troubles when I first got her from the floods in Victoria, however these have been corrected, having had 3 months off last year due to a workplace injury as well as my good farrier. Recently she had a small lesion in her off side fore deep suspensory. After 6 weeks off she is back in full work with no dramas whatsoever. She is up to date with teeth, chiro, 2in1, Hendra and microchipped. She's been massaged weekly as I have an Equissage. She is a quirky girl and not for the faint-hearted to jockey. I will not sell her as a ridden mount without coming and riding her first, as Ruth done the same with me. However, with her solid frame and beautiful confirmation she would be an eligible prospect for any broodmare barn as a recip mare or HSH band. Selling due to current time restraints with work and study, having a young horse come through the ranks that I'd love to pour my heart into and I don't want Fontain going to waste.
