Browning Arms Model BLR

R Serial # 01045K37. .308 Win. caliber lever action rifle with a 20” barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with strong rifling with some light to moderate fouling. It should clean better. Detachable magazine. Pre-BLR 81 Short Action rifle made in Belgium in 1973. The original blued metal finish on the barrel is in excellent condition showing little wear with a few light marks. The blued metal finish on the steel receiver and lever is in excellent condition as well showing little wear with some scattered fine scratches. The top of the ribbed receiver has been drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The checkered walnut forearm and matching butt stock are in very good condition showing some scattered light dings and scratches with light finish wear. Original brown rubber recoil pad. Original front and rear sights, the front sight hood is missing. The action works fine. Includes the box, no instructions. The Pre-81 BLR was made from 1971-1981. C&R.
