R Serial # 994. .22 RF caliber single shot rifle with a 24-1/2” heavy octagon barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with good rifling with some scattered light corrosion in the grooves. The blued metal finish on the barrel and receiver is an older re-blue with patches of near bare metal that have been aggressively cleaned along with some scattered light rust. The blued metal finish on the breech block shows edge wear and light scratches with light surface rust. The checkered walnut stock has been refinished and is in good condition showing light wear. There is a small crack at the nose and the butt stock has a major repair with a large piece spliced in with several wood dowels. Plastic butt plate. The action works fine. C&R.
