R Serial # BER7691. .44 Magnum caliber double action revolver with a 6” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. This is a laser engraved, all stainless steel constructed revolver made in 1989 to commemorate the 100 years of Carpenter Technology. The barrel is engraved and marked “1889 Carpenter Technology Corporation 1989”. Limited to 2,060 guns, this is number 1896. The stainless finish on the barrel is in excellent condition showing little sign of use with some light scuffs from handling. The stainless steel finish on the fluted cylinder is excellent as well with a light drag line. The stainless steel finish on the frame is in excellent condition showing little to no wear. The checkered hardwood replacement grips are in excellent condition showing little sign of use. The action works like new. Includes a Smith & Wesson box and the original finger groove grips.
