Scott #65 (3¢ rose Washington, 1861–66 issue).IdentificationAll Three: Standard #65 design (Washington profile, second design with corner ornaments). Rose/orange-rose shades with typical aging. Heavy black cancels (striped/bar and grid/killer types) that obscure parts of the design—common on Civil War-era mail.Condition: Used singles; perfs present but variable wear/toning from cancels and time. The right stamp has a particularly heavy "patchy" cancel.Swedish Tiger & Auction ValuesSwedish Tiger: Standard #65 used—very common. Fancy/heavy cancels add modest interest for cancel collectors but don't significantly increase value over plain used copies.Siegel & Hammer Prices: #65 singles with cancels sell frequently in groups. Average used #65s realize $5–$25 each; those with bold fancy cancels can reach $30–$100+ individually in specialized sales. Your group (heavily cancelled) is in the lower-to-mid range—suitable for bulk lots or type collections. Comparable #65 cancel groups in recent auctions hammer in the low hundreds total.Group Value Estimate: $40–$150+
