Framed 26.5 x 30.5 in Artwork 20 x 24 in Collector's Note: Born in Texas, Mexican-American painter Jesús Mariano Leuus (1948–2008) trained at Mexico City's La Esmeralda. Merging Aztec and Mayan influences with postwar minimalism, he crafted monumental, stylized figures using hand-mixed acrylic and textured marble dust. His simplified forms express universal themes like love, sadness, and mortality.
