Ceramic Nautical Spinning Wheel Novelty Miniature Oil Lamp Description: A highly detailed and unique vintage novelty miniature oil lamp featuring a molded ceramic base designed to look like a rustic spinning wheel or maritime ship's wheel assembly. The ceramic housing features a matte cream/off-white glaze with deep brown wiped accents that beautifully highlight the molded wood grain, woven rope details, and braided basketweave base. The lamp column rises as a stylized post adjacent to the wheel structure, fitted with a traditional brass-tone pronged burner assembly and a small adjustment wheel. It comes complete with a contrasting glass hurricane chimney globe featuring a frosted lower section that tapers into a clear glass top. A fantastic novelty crossover piece for collectors of vintage miniature lighting or Americana decor. Material: Molded ceramic, glass, brass-tone metal Color/Finish: Matte cream and brown wood-tone finish with a frosted/clear glass chimney Estimated Era: Circa 1970s
