Exposed nichrome heating elements. Fold-down side doors that hold the bread. Bread is placed against the heating elements on each side. Manual operation—the slices had to be turned by hand to toast both sides evenly. Chrome/nickel-plated Art Deco styling. Original cloth-covered cord.
