1971 Pink Floyd & Finnegan San Diego Concert Poster – Randy Tuten – ArtRock Certified Outstanding vintage concert poster advertising Pink Floyd with opening act Finnegan, appearing Sunday, October 17, 1971, at the San Diego Community Concourse—also identified in concert references as Golden Hall—in San Diego, California. The poster was designed by celebrated rock artist Randy Tuten and features a surreal science-fiction composition incorporating mysterious figures, spacecraft and imagery inspired by The War of the Worlds. This performance took place during Pink Floyd’s important pre-Dark Side of the Moon period, when the group’s concerts featured extended and experimental performances of material such as “Atom Heart Mother,” “Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun,” “Cymbaline” and “Careful with That Axe, Eugene.” The poster is beautifully presented beneath glass with a vibrant pink mat and slender black frame, producing a dramatic, display-ready appearance. It is accompanied by an ArtRock Certificate of Authenticity, identified as No. B112, guaranteeing the piece as represented and signed by ArtRock owner Philip Cushway. A visually striking artifact from one of rock music’s most innovative bands and an exceptional addition to any collection of Pink Floyd, psychedelic poster art, Randy Tuten artwork or vintage concert memorabilia. Please note: The poster has not been removed from its frame for examination. Its specific printing, dimensions and condition outside the visible framed presentation have not been independently verified.
