This is a vintage Marx tin lithographed model railroad tunnel for O gauge layouts. The arched tunnel is decorated on the exterior with a colorful pastoral landscape showing rolling yellow and green fields, a winding road, and a cottage with a red roof, and the arch openings are lithographed to resemble cut stone masonry. The interior is finished in maroon red. One end bears the encircled mark reading Made in United States of America, MAR Toys, New York N.Y. The tinplate shows surface wear, scattered scratches, small dents, and some paint loss along the edges consistent with age. Overall condition is good for a used tin litho accessory.
