This is a Lionel 6110 steam locomotive, a two four two Scout type engine from the Lionel Corporation. The molded black shell shows raised boiler, hatch, and riveted detailing, and the boiler front bears a small plate reading Built by Lionel Corp. Thecab sides are marked 6110 in white, and the motor frame visible on the underside is stamped Built in the U.S. of America by the Lionel Corporation, New York N.Y. The locomotive retains its spoked drive wheels, front pilot wheels, rear trailing wheel, and metal side connecting rods. The piece is offered as the locomotive only with no tender. It shows moderate surface wear, light scuffs, and dust. Overall condition is good. Bidders should review all photos to assess condition. Estimated Value: $20 to $40 based on comparable recent sales.
