This is a pair of cast iron bookends in the form of seated pigs facing outward. Each pig rests on a rectangular base backed by an upright plate to support books. They retain a dark painted finish with scattered wear, surface oxidation, and traces ofold white paint. Each bookend measures approximately 4.75 inches tall by 4.25 inches deep. The pair is in good condition with expected paint loss and light rust consistent with age and use, and they remain heavy and functional. Estimated Value: $30 to $55 based on comparable recent sales.
