A botanical offset lithograph after an original watercolor and ink drawing by Mary Lou Goertzen. The artwork features a delicate floral arrangement including an iris and various daisy-like flowers presented in a clear glass vase. The piece utilizes a line-and-wash technique where several botanical elements are left as simple outlines. The signature mary lou goertzen is visible within the plate at the lower right. The work is housed under glass with a double mat in a white-finished wooden faux-bamboo frame. The reverse side includes a handwritten ink inscription G. & D. Romagnol dated May 5/77 and a label for Geneva Picture Frame Galleries of St. Catharines, Ontario. Dimensions (approximate, measured against a ruler): H 13.5 in x W 10.75 in. Condition: The paper shows light, even toning. The white finish on the faux-bamboo frame exhibits significant cracking and crazing throughout. The glass and matting appear free of visible damage.
