Vintage United Clock Corporation Model 79 electric wall clock featuring a mid-century modern atomic starburst design with gold-tone metal rays, circular accents, and wood-tone spindle ends. Black domed face marked "United" and “Made in U.S.A.” Dates to approximately the late 1950s–1960s. When plugged in, the hands move, but the motor makes a loud noise; clock has not been tested for timekeeping accuracy and may need service. Shows dust, discoloration, tarnish, scratches, and general wear from age.
