Vintage Waverly, Tennessee Police Department Assistant Chief dress visor cap. Navy blue cap with original gold-tone and blue enamel Assistant Chief badge featuring the State of Tennessee seal. Interior retains Kay Uniforms of Tennessee label and handwritten identification for "M. H. Deck – Waverly P.D." Size 7¼. The underside of the visor is marked “KANT-KRACK U.S. PAT. 3,047,880,” a patent issued in 1962, helping date the cap to the mid-to-late 20th century. Shows expected wear, dust, discoloration, and surface marks from age and service.
