This stoneware beer stein features a transfer-printed Berlin coat of arms, displaying a crowned black bear on a shield flanked by red and gold foliate designs. Below the graphic, the city name appears in bold gothic script. The cylindrical body sports a light gray glaze, a sturdy handle, and an unmarked underside. Near the handle, the reverse features an impressed 0.5 l capacity mark above the manufacturer name GERZ, alongside a W. GERMANY stamp. Produced in West Germany as a mid-to-late 20th-century commemorative souvenir, the vessel remains fully intact with minor shelf wear on the base rim and measures 5.25" tall.
