Original Period Engraving of Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson in its original Civil War period frame 11" X 13". Bust view of Jackson in uniform in an oval cartouche. Matted with light brown gilt decorated card stock. Frame has a tortoise shell finish with a silver lining and its original backing. Immediately below the image is "O'Neill N.Y." in fancy script. O'Neill published numerous engravings of Civil War generals both north and south and sold them during the latter years of the War and beyond. Minor wear and small losses to the frame with two small water spots on the matting.
