L.C.SMITH 12 ga. SXS Shotgun, 30" Barrel, Fair Condition, sn:25442F A sidelock 12 gauge from the Syracuse era, featuring exposed hammers and double triggers. The walnut stock displays a round knob with fine checkering at the wrist, and splinter forend. The frame shows traces of case-colored finish, and the forend has a buffalo horn tip. The receiver is missing the left barrel's firing pin. It has the original Parker Bros. butt plate, Damascus barrels, dent in the right barrel, and concave rib. The front bead sight is missing. Chambered for 2 3/4" shells, with modified and improved-cylinder chokes, 13 3/8" LOP to the rear trigger, 1.75" drop at comb, and 2.5" drop at heel. (84532) (GSCG65)
