Pre-WWII Japanese Nagoya Arsenal Type 14 Nambu 8mm Pistol – June 1937. Good Condition Normal Handling Marks. 4.5" Barrel. Shiny Bore, with Shallow Rifling, Tight Action Semi Auto . A highly desirable, historically significant Japanese military sidearm offered in good condition with honest handling marks consistent with its age and service. Produced under the supervision of the Nagoya Arsenal, this early-variant specimen features a clear Showa date stamp of 12.6 on the right side of the frame, indicating production in June 1937, just before the escalation of conflict in the Pacific. It retains the classic pre-war small round trigger guard and fine slotted wooden grip panels. The pistol is configured with a 4.5-inch barrel featuring a tight action, a bright, shiny bore, a blued upper and lower receiver, and a correct factory in-the-white bolt assembly. Distinct military features include a drift-adjustable front sight, a fixed rear notch sight, a frame-mounted lanyard loop, a single-action trigger mechanism, and a left-side frame-mounted safety lever. Bearing serial number 31885, this premier investment-grade Axis sidearm comes complete with one magazine and a black padded soft zippered storage case. (80130) (GSCA15)
