U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Mark I .30-06 Bolt-Action Rifle. Good condition, Normal Handling Marks. 24" Barrel. Shootable Bore, Tight Action Bolt Action . A historically significant, highly collectible variant of the legendary American service rifle, offered in good condition. Manufactured with the specialized left-side receiver slot to accommodate the innovative WWI-era Pedersen Device, this Mark I model features a 24-inch barrel with a tight bolt action and a completely shootable bore. The straight-grained wood stock shows normal handling marks from military service and bears an honest, stable vintage repair alongside a rich array of arsenal markings; these include a faint circled "P" proof behind the trigger guard, an "H" stamp on the bottom of the bayonet lug, and a crisp "RIA FK" (Rock Island Arsenal / Frank Krack) rebuild stamp on the left side. Mechanically complete, the rifle is configured with a serrated fixed front sight, a flip-up adjustable rear ladder sight, a receiver-mounted magazine cut-off switch, a two-stage trigger, a blued bolt with a traditional flag safety, and a steel trapdoor buttplate. Bearing serial number 1168977, this excellent collector's package comes complete as pictured with an authentic, investment-grade U.S. military bayonet dated 1901, featuring a "U.S. PROPERTY" stamp on the base of the blade, serial number 412490 on the hilt, and its matching metal-reinforced sheath.
