Apple has privacy features called "Sign in with Apple" or "Hide My Email". When you use them to log into an app or website, you can choose not to share your actual email address. Instead, Apple creates a special email address ending in `@privaterelay.appleid.com`. This is supposed to act like a middleman, forwarding emails along while protecting us from seeing your actual email address. But in reality those don't seem to be getting through. People bid on items, but then they don't get emails notifying them when they've won. So they don't pick up their items, and all manner of confusion and sadness results. IF YOU REGISTER with Apple Private Email, you will be banned from bidding. If you've already done this, you'll have to email us at [email protected] - I don't think there's a way to change an email address once you've registered.
