2004-P KEELBOAT JEFFERSON NICKEL BU INB SLAB 2004-P Lewis and Clark Keelboat Jefferson Nickel BU INB Slabbed Condition: This 2004-P Jefferson Nickel is graded as Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) and is housed in a protective slab by the International Numismatic Bureau (INB). The coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint, as indicated by the P mint mark. The metal content of this five-cent piece is a composition of 75% copper and 25% nickel. As part of the Westward Journey Nickel Series, this keelboat design commemorates the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The reverse features the keelboat used by the Corps of Discovery to navigate the Missouri River, while the obverse retains the classic profile of Thomas Jefferson. This is a business strike type coin intended for circulation but preserved in uncirculated condition.
