Handwoven African basket constructed from tightly coiled natural plant fibers in alternating dark brown and natural tones, creating a striking concentric geometric pattern with radiating stitched spokes resembling a sunburst or spiderweb design. The basket features a sturdy wrapped rim and an integrated hanging loop, making it suitable for wall display as well as tabletop use. Measuring approximately 14.75 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall, the basket demonstrates skilled traditional weaving techniques and natural fiber craftsmanship. No maker's tag or tribal attribution is present, so a specific region or artisan cannot be confirmed. Light wear consistent with age and prior display is present, with no significant structural damage apparent. See photos for full details.
