Vintage Seth Thomas tambour mantel clock housed in a classic hardwood case with a brass bezel and silver-tone dial featuring Arabic numerals. The dial is signed Seth Thomas, and the clock retains its mechanical key-wound time-and-strike movement with rear access door, pendulum, and coil gong. The original Seth Thomas setup instructions remain attached inside the back door along with a repair label from Suburban Clock & Repair, Berea, Ohio, dated November 19, 1979, documenting professional service. This American-made mantel clock dates to approximately the 1930s–1940s and represents one of Seth Thomas’ most recognizable tambour-style designs. Measures approximately 17 inches wide, 9 inches tall, and 5.5 inches deep. Mechanical function has not been tested beyond visual inspection, and no guarantee is made regarding timekeeping or striking performance. An excellent display piece, restoration candidate, or addition to a vintage clock collection. Working and has directions. Please see photos for full details.
