A decorative wooden chest of domed form featuring a hand-painted floral motif. The central panel displays a potted plant with red and green floral clusters on a cream crackle-glaze ground, bordered by dark embossed panels with scrolling foliate and vine designs. The chest includes a decorative metal swing latch and a corresponding handle on the lid. The interior is lined with burgundy-coloured flocking and divided into three compartments. A rustic metal candle lantern of square form with glass panels on all four sides. The lantern incorporates a decorative frieze of interlocking circles, a vented chimney with a spherical finial, and an arched metal swing handle. One side serves as a hinged door with a small latch. The interior base features a circular candle holder. A dark patinated metal wire storage rack, possibly intended for magazines or as a planter stand. The rectangular basket is constructed with vertical wire supports and stands on four integral feet, topped with a tall, two-pronged handle. Dimensions measured against a ruler: Chest: Height approx. 30 cm Lantern: Height to top of handle approx. 40 cm, Base width approx. 15 cm Wire Rack: Height approx. 61 cm. Condition: The wooden chest shows signs of wear to the edges and crackle finish, with a dark patina to the metal hardware. The candle lantern displays a weathered finish and surface dust, with debris remnants to the interior; glass panels remain intact. The wire rack exhibits surface oxidation and dust consistent with age and use.
