This lot features two large-scale toy commercial vehicles. The first is a Road Legends 1/18 scale die-cast model of a 1953 Ford F-100 Wrecker tow truck. The vehicle is finished in dark blue with grey fenders and red wheels featuring chrome-effect hubcaps. It is equipped with a red plastic twin-boom towing apparatus complete with lines and hooks, and a chrome-effect front bumper and bull bar. The livery features Road Legends Towing graphics with unit number 228 and contact details. The second item is an articulated Buddy L semi-truck and box trailer, constructed primarily from plastic. The unit features a white cab and trailer with orange McKerlie Millen Auto Parts livery. The base of the trailer is embossed with the marking 1983 Buddy L Corp, Made in China. Length of tow truck approx. 10.5 inches (measured against a visible tape measure) Combined length of semi-truck approx. 17 inches (measured against a visible tape measure). Condition: Both vehicles are in play-worn condition and exhibit surface dust. The Buddy L semi-truck shows significant age-related discolouration and yellowing to the tan-coloured plastic components, including the fenders, mudflaps, and trailer chassis. The Road Legends tow truck has a strip of clear adhesive tape applied across the driver-side door. No original packaging is included.
